Troy High School Valedictorian
Jeffrey Smith
Jeffrey Smith is the son of Mrs. Patricia Smith and Mr. Benjamin Smith. He is an active member in the community, serving through organizations like National Honor Society and Key Club. Jeffrey has also distinguished himself academically as a National Merit Commended Scholar and as a winner of both the Rensselaer Medal and AP Scholar Award. Early this year, Jeffrey finished his fourth year of high school golf and earned himself the title of MVL Honorable Mention for Troy. Jeffrey plans to major in Political Science at The Ohio State University this upcoming fall.
Troy High School Salutatorian
Deanna Rohlfs
Deanna Rohlfs is the daughter of Brad and Natalie Rohlfs. She is an active member of Student Government, a second-soprano in Troy Tones A Capella Choir, a sprinter for Troy’s Varsity Track and Field Team, and an elite dancer at Center Stage Academy. She is a Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award recipient. Some of her passions include writing, leading worship, and running middle school youth ministry. Following graduation, Deanna will be serving for two years as a missionary with Damascus Catholic Mission Campus. She will transform the culture of youth in America, equipping middle and high schoolers to follow Jesus with boldness and freedom.
Troy High School Upper Valley Career Center Honor Student
Justin Vaughn
Justin Vaughn is the son of Mr. Joseph Vaughn II and Mrs. Misty Skidmore. He is enrolled in the Pre-Engineering and Design Technologies program at the Upper Valley Career, where he was a member of the UVCC Honor Society, along with competing in state, regional, and local competitions for the student leadership organization, “SkillsUSA”. He has been a member of Troy’s chapter of the National Honor Society for three years. He was nominated President of the ESports club his sophomore year, being captain of the Smash Ultimate and Overwatch 2 teams for 3 years, founding the Overwatch team in the spring of 2023. He was named Second Team All-Ohio for Smash Ultimate in the spring of 2024, All-Tournament Team for Overwatch in the fall of 2024, and First Team All-Ohio for Overwatch in spring 2025, additionally being invited to All-Star Ohio matches for both titles. He played in both Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble while attending Troy and has marched with the THS Marching Band and Indoor Percussion for a collective nine seasons. Justin plans on attending the University of Cincinnati this fall to study Mechanical Engineering.
