ACP Program Application

How to take IU courses through ACP – Application overview for students!

APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMIITED BY – MAY 31

Taking an IU course at your school next fall through the ACP program involves four simple steps:

Step 1:          You – complete the student application for admission to the ACP program (this is not regular admission to IU!!!!).

  • You must currently have a 2.70 GPA in order to be admitted to ACP
  • You must have or create an email account in order to complete the application
  • Apply here:

https://onestart.iu.edu/sisad-prd/p/Guest.do?methodToCall=start&inst=IUEAA&career=UGRD&parm1=ACP

Step 2:          Your school - will provide IU with necessary information about your GPA, the IU courses you are planning to take in the fall, and if you qualify for a tuition waiver (ask you guidance counselor if you qualify). This only happens AFTER you complete an application at the link above.

Step 3:          IU Northwest will officially enroll you in IU courses and send a bill to your home this summer.

Step 4:          You - Pay your IU bill (follow the instructions in the bill you receive)!

 Some important reminders:

  • Tuition for these courses is only $25.00 per credit
  • Students who meet income eligibility guidelines for the Federal Free / Reduced Lunch Program may qualify for free tuition (work with your school to discuss your eligibility – your school will verify eligibility, not IU)
  • Enrolling in IU courses will result in an official IU course transcript, and your IU grade will become part of your permanent college academic record

An outline of Step 1 (completing the Application) is on the next page!
